In LinkedIn account profile, Golden noted he is responsible to ensure the marketing and launch of the Galaxy series of products to be successful in the global market from 2008 to 2012. Currently he is working on a marketing company Brand Slam.
However, it is unclear how long it will last a Golden at HTC. Bloomberg sources familiar with the issue said, Golden has signed a contract with HTC for 3 months and began work in April this.
HTC has the Android smart phone product quality and advanced features embedded in recent years. Unfortunately, HTC flagship Android phone is always overshadowed by Samsung's flagship Android phone, such as the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4.
In 2014, the flagship HTC has smart phone called the HTC One (M8) which has a 5-inch wide screen and is equipped with two cameras on the back to capture the breadth and sharpness of the image, as well as two LED flash.
The product will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy S5.
