In addition to the slim body less than 5 mm, another thing to be proud of Oppo on one of its latest smartphone, R5, is a cooling system based on material "liquid metal".
If the phone is usually only rely on the graphics processor to cool, according to written information received by Kompas Tekno, R5 also wear a phase-change materials called metal (PCM).
PCM is placed between the processor and graphite to increase cooling efficiency.
Called "phase-change" because these metals similar materials can change shape at a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius so that it fills the entire space between the processor and graphics to aid heat transfer.
Oppo says that the PCM material can last for 96 hours continuously at a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius, and has durability for more than three years.
R5 itself octa-core processor equipped with a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 has eight cores. Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal media capacity, 2,000 mAh battery, 13 megapixel camera, Android 4.4 OS Kitkat, and a 5.2-inch display (1920x1080).
