Android L Battery More Save Up To 36 Percent

Google has introduced as part of the Volta Project L. Project Volta Android is Google's attempt to extend the battery life belongs Android smartphone. Really Android L will have a longer battery life?

Ars Technica site on Thursday (03/07/2014) says has conducted initial testing of the Nexus devices are running Andorid L 5 Developer Preview version. In these tests, it turns out Android L has a battery life of 36 percent longer.

The test is performed by comparing the same device, the Nexus 5, but running different operating systems, namely Android 4.4 and Android Kitkat L.

Battery is fully charged before the Nexus 5 tested. After the test is done browsing the web with the same standard, with 200 nits brightness settings. As a result, the battery Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat can last for 6 hours and 45 minutes.

After testing with Andorid KitKat. Nexus 5 are the same then fitted with Android OS L Developer Preview. It will then undergo the same test.

Apparently, the Nexus 5 with Android L can last longer with a record time of browsing the web for almost 8 hours.
